**Holiday closure: 12 December 2026 to 12 January 2027.** Alpha Edge Clinic and our partner pharmacies will be closed for the holiday period, reopening on 12 January 2027.

During this time, we will not be taking calls, responding to emails or conducting consultations. Pharmacy dispensing and dispatch services will also be unavailable.

We respect your privacy. This policy explains how Alpha Edge Clinic handles information collected through our website, enquiries, assessments and related clinic services.

## What we collect and why

We collect information reasonably needed to respond to enquiries, assess suitability for our services, coordinate care and manage our business. This may include your name, date of birth, contact details, relevant Medicare or healthcare identifiers, health history, assessment responses, pathology results, consultation and treatment records, correspondence, bookings and payment information. Website data may include your IP address, device and browser details, pages visited and interactions.

## How information is collected and shared

We usually collect information directly from you through forms, consultations and communications. With your consent or where otherwise permitted, we may also obtain relevant information from pathology providers, pharmacies and other treating practitioners. You can make general enquiries anonymously where practicable; clinical services require accurate identity and health information.

Information may be shared as reasonably needed with our practitioners, authorised staff, pathology providers, approved partner pharmacies and other practitioners involved in your care. We also use service providers for hosting, records, bookings, communications, payments and administration. Relevant disclosures may also be made to professional advisers, insurers or authorities where appropriate and permitted. We do not sell personal information.

## Storage and overseas providers

Information is held in electronic clinic and administrative systems and, where applicable, paper records. We take reasonable steps to protect it and limit access to authorised people. Records are retained for clinical, business and required record-keeping purposes, then securely destroyed or de-identified when appropriate. No online system is completely secure.

Some of our service providers store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States. Where this happens, we take reasonable steps to ensure your information is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

## Cookies and communications

Our website may use cookies and similar tools for functionality, security and website analysis. You can manage cookies through your browser, although some functions may be affected. Consent is obtained where required, including for any sensitive information used in advertising tracking.

You may unsubscribe from optional marketing using the message instructions or by contacting us. Necessary service communications may continue. Sensitive health information is not used for direct marketing without consent.

## Access, questions and complaints

We may verify your identity. We will review requests, investigate complaints and explain our response, generally within 30 days or any applicable shorter timeframe. If more time is needed, we will keep you informed.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au, 1300 363 992).
